Q3FY17 Results: Vivimed Labs Ltd

Vivimed Labs Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended on December 31, 2016.

The total sales for this quarter, Q3FY17, came in at Rs 363 crore. This represents a 21.4 per cent sequential increase and 9.34 per cent YoY increase. This was driven by 33.2 per cent QoQ growth in revenue from pharma business. Its operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs 88 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 24.24 per cent. In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs 51.7 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 92.19 per cent and a YoY increase of 124.78 per cent.

Vivimed Labs' unique portfolio of products, focusses on pharma, personal care and colour chemistry. The company manufactures a range of products like active ingredients in the toothpaste and mouthwash, nutrients and preservatives for hand & body moisturisers and face creams. Also, from UV-protection active present in sunscreens to the colourants in hair or conditioners in the shampoo, to the photochromic dyes in eyewear and many more. The company operating business segment consist of speciality chemicals and pharma business.
