"All of these Jio customers can enroll for the Jio Prime membership for a full year, for a nominal, one-time fee of only Rs 99. Enrolment will start from the 1st of March and will remain open until the 31st of March 2017. Jio Prime members are eligible for some amazing benefits," said Ambani on Tuesday sending a shock message for all other telecom players. Now what is there to hurt the already bleeding other telecom players, Mukesh Ambani explains: "Jio Prime members can continue enjoying the unlimited benefits that they have got used to during the Jio New Year Offer for another 12 months – until 31st March 2018. Only Jio Prime members can get this tremendous value for a rock-bottom introductory price of only Rs 303 per month, effectively just Rs. 10 per day, for another full year."
Saying that Reliance Jio will also launch another set of value plans for Jio Prime members, Ambani said, "We will also offer other extreme-value plans exclusively for our Jio Prime members, and you will be able to see their details via the MyJio app and Jio.com. Jio Prime members can get the full bouquet of Jio’s media services worth over Rs 10,000 for an annual subscription. It's completely free for one full year until 31st March 2018. " "We are putting together a lineup of attractive deals and offers from both Jio and its partners, again only for our Jio Prime members," he said further explaining benefits of Jio Prime.
So how do you go for a coveted Jio Prime membership-come March 1, a Jio subscriber can do this on his/her own through the MyJio app, or the jio.com website. Alternatively, the aspiring subscriber can also simply walk into any Jio store or any Jio partner store for buying his/her Prime membership. Reliance Jio outlets, hence, may expect, yet again long queues outside their stores come March 1 when to continue enjoying 'free' Jio services, loyal customers will come back to stand in the queues, this time to buy Jio Prime memberships at a cost of Rs 99.
