S&P BSE Information Technology index gave negative return of 0.06 per cent in past one year by shedding 71 points (from 10,449 points on 26 February 2016 to 10,378 points on 23 February 2017).
S&P BSE Information Technology index gave negative return of 0.06 per cent in past one year by shedding 71 points (from 10,449 points on 26 February 2016 to 10,378 points on 23 February 2017), while BSE benchmark index gave approximate return of 25 per cent in the same period.
S&P BSE IT Index includes fifteen IT companies like Aptech, Datamatics, Eclerx Services, First Source Solutions, HCL Infosystem, HCL Technologies, Hexaware, Infosys, Intellect Design Arena, Mindtree, Ramco System, Tata Elxsi, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro.
Some popular Information Technology Fund returns ranged from sweeping 9.7 per cent return to negative return of 4.89 per cent in past one year.
Birla Sun Life New Millennium Fund proved to be a leader with positive return of 9.71 per cent, followed by Franklin Infotech Ltd. with a return rate of 7.26 per cent.
Tata Digital India Fund and DSP BlackRock Technology.com Fund- Regular Plan disappointed its investors by giving negative returns of 3.64 per cent and 4.89 per cent, respectively.
