Wipro’s solution to leverage HPE’s Windpark Manager used by wind park owners

IT major Wipro announced a new IT-based solution for wind parks and wind turbine manufacturers for overall management of wind turbines and related IT infrastructure. Moreover, the solution will also manage IT applications and security in such a way that will augment operational efficiency as well as generate revenue streams.

The solution is set to leverage the Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Windpark Manager 4.0. HPE’s Windpark Manager 4.0 is adapted to wind park operating environments and brings down the operating expenses and enhances efficiency of wind turbine operations. The sole dashboard displaying IT information on the wind park operations enables speedy actions on critical issues. Wipro’s solution will enable reconfiguration for new operating conditions keeping the current operations intact.

Wirpo derives nearly 14-15% revenue from its Energy, Natural Resources & Utilities (ENU) service segment and the said solution will help boost its ENU revenue going forward. The solution will deliver higher outputs of usable energy. Thereby, the blend of Wirpo’s solution and HPE’s Windpark Manager 4.0 will establish an exclusive proposition that will simplify complex multi-tenant wind park environments.
