Surya Roshni shines on commencement of production

Surya Roshni has started commercial production at its newly set-up steel pipe plant at Hindupur. The company will manufacture ERW Black and GI Pipes with an installed capacity of 90000 MT per annum.
Surya Roshni has started commercial production at its newly set-up steel pipe plant at Hindupur. The company will manufacture ERW Black and GI Pipes with an installed capacity of 90000 MT per annum. It has started operations from Wednesday.
With the start of operations at Hindupur plant, Surya Roshni will achieve savings in logistics related cost. The company will build its presence in the premium market of South India, resulting into creation of a larger and stronger steel pipes business with economies of scale.
Surya Roshni is a manufacturing company with business interests in steel tubes and pipes, lighting, fans and appliances, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes.
Surya Roshni’s revenue increased 7.96 per cent to Rs 798 crore in Q3FY17 as compared to same period in previous financial year. The company’s operating profit declined 4.76 per cent to Rs 59.21 crore in Q3FY17 on a yearly basis. Its net profit increased by 4.81 per cent to Rs 17.65 crore in Q3FY17 as compared to same period in previous fiscal.
The stocks of Surya Roshni increased 7.07 per cent in early trade and are trading at Rs 195.8 on an intraday basis.
