SPML Infra climbs 10 per cent on bagging new orders

SPML Infra has received new orders of Rs 250 crore for power transmission & distribution projects in West Bengal and Haryana.
SPML Infra has received new orders of Rs 250 crore for power transmission & distribution projects in West Bengal and Haryana. Out of the total order, Rs 106.92 crore order has been received from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company for Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development in Murshidabad. Another chunk of the order worth Rs 89.40 crore has come from Power Grid Corporation of India for the extension of 400/220 kV AIS substation in Malda and other towns of West Bengal. The remaining part of Rs 48.88 crore comes from HVPNL for 220 kV GIS substation in Faridabad.
The management of SPML Infra is confident of executing orders owing to their expertise in the transmission and distribution segment. The company has bagged Rs 800 crore order in January and Rs 250 crore new orders now.
The share price of SPML Infra has increased 9.72 per cent in early trade, and is trading at Rs 62.9 on an intraday basis. The share price of the company has witnessed spurt in volumes by more than 5.83 times on Wednesday.
