CVoter Exit Poll gives UP to BJP but SP-Cong alliance inches away

As anxious moments are passing by for the politicians and also commoners less than 48 hours before results of five states' legislative assemblies are slated to come out, CVoter's Exit Poll predicts a clear win for BJP in Samajwadi Party-ruled Uttar Pradesh.

As anxious moments are passing by for the politicians and also commoners less than 48 hours before results of five states' legislative assemblies are slated to come out, CVoter's Exit Poll predicts a clear win for BJP in Samajwadi Party-ruled Uttar Pradesh.

The Exit Poll outcomes indicate BJP securing 155-167 seats in the crucial state where elections held for 403 seats. The same Exit Poll awards SP-Congress alliance 135-147 seats which may disappoint UP's first family very much on Thursday evening. Sentiments are also not in much favour of BSP's Mayawati as the Exit Poll has predicted her party bagging only 81-93 seats. However, a slight changes here and there in reality may upset chances of BJP's win in UP though we all now will have to wait till Saturday, March 11 afternoon.

CVoter Exit Poll, hands over SAD-BJP managed Punjab to Arvind Kejriwal's AAP as it has predicted 59-67 seats to go to AAP and 41-49 seats going to Congress. SAD-BJP may just land up getting 5-13 seats. So if this Exit Poll comes out even closer to the reality to be released on Saturday, Kejriwal will step beyond Delhi and can claim the distinction of being really marked as a national political outfit.

The Exit Poll has also predicted a very critical neck to neck fight in Harish Rawat's Uttarakhand. It has predicted BJP and Congress each winning 32 seats out of 70. So a hung assembly may happen in Uttarakhand if this Exit Poll is to be believed, at least for now.

However, BJP may come out as the clear winner in coastal state of Goa where according to this Exit Poll, BJP may end up bagging 15-21 seats leaving AAP far behind which may bag maximum 4 seats. In Goa, Congress may get 18 seats out of 40, said the Exit Poll on Thursday evening. Congress may get a bad news from north-eastern state of Manipur as the Exit Poll predicts a BJP victory there. According to this Exit Poll, BJP may take over from the guard of Imphal by securing 25-31 seats while Congress may end up getting 17-23 seats. In 2012 elections, BJP got no seat in Manipur.
