Gujarat Fluorochemicals might restructure its establishments; enhancing shareholder value. As an effect, the stocks gained over 4 per cent on Tuesday.
Amidst speculations of Gujarat Fluorochemicals restructuring and enhancing shareholder value, the stock has gained over 4 per cent on Tuesday.
The Company is working on simplifying its structure by removing the holding company discount and segregating the chemicals business into a distinct entity. At present, the company operates with four main bodies- chemicals, film extention, wind turbine manufacturing and wind farm, with the chemicals business valuing at Rs 5,000 crore; and the company's market capitalisation stands at Rs 6,500 crore.
Moreover, as a part of the INOX Group, the company holds 63 per cent stake worth Rs 2,500 crore in INOX Wind, and a 48 per cent stake worth Rs 1,150 crore in INOX Leisure.
On the share market front, the company witnessed a surge of 21 per cent in a period of last one month. While, its stocks gained by 6 per cent in the last three days. The stocks valued at Rs 615.90, increased by 4.20 per cent on BSE at 9:05 am.
