L&T trades flat despite of winning order

L&T Construction, subsidiary of L&T, has won orders of Rs 2490 crore. L&T along with joint venture, Shriram EPC, has won orders of Rs 705 crore from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation of the United Republic of Tanzania.

L&T Construction, subsidiary of L&T, has won orders of Rs 2490 crore. The Company has bagged a massive order from a premier government organisation for the construction of a hospital building, a medical institute, a nursing college, a school for paramedics, an auditorium, hostels, residential quarters along with associated works in New Delhi.

L&T also received a design and build order from a prestigious client to construct a state of art technical building in Maharashtra. The company also bagged order for construction of residential project at Bengaluru. The scope includes construction of shell and core works.

L&T along with joint venture, Shriram EPC, has won orders of Rs 705 crore from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation of the United Republic of Tanzania. The project work includes extension of water transmission pipeline from the Lake of Victoria Water Supply scheme to Tabora, Nzega and Igunga Towns Package II.

The stock price of L&T increased 0.17 per cent in early trade, and is trading at Rs 1556.5 on an intraday basis.
