Just one day to go and, the fellow banks that will be merging with State Bank of India will wear the new signage and logo from April 1. The logo is designed as the iconic keyhole with an inky-blue backdrop set around.

It can be noticed that there have been minor changes in the design and colour of SBI’s new logo.
The background of SBI signboard has been changed from white to inky blue and the logo has been changed with lighter shade than the existing blue. SBI’s name will be seen in white colour. A company called Design Stack have executed this designing.

This step is taken in regards with the bank’s main goal to establish a unified image, wherein all the five fellow-banks will speak the same message.

This logo represents its role as a custodian who keeps customer’s money safe.
For this, SBI is also planning to set up ad campaigns through televisions and paper prints.

And the next SBI tagline goes as “Banker to every Indian” representing its associate banks too.
