Escalating the competition among peer operators, Aircel launched ‘Aircel Goodnights’ scheme offering free mobile internet access to all its prepaid users from 3.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. everyday.

Escalating the competition among peer operators, Aircel launched ‘Aircel Goodnights’ scheme offering free mobile internet access to all its prepaid users from 3.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. everyday.

Aircel’s 2G and 3G customers availing the offer will be able to download scheduled offline videos, movies, songs for free during the specified time period. However, the scheme providing free data will only be available for 2 months and will also have a FUP of 500MB per day.

The company has come up with the offer to widen its customer base in the huge market of smartphone and mobile internet users in India. The offer can be availed across the country in all circles for free. 

Aircel, the Gurgaon-based telecom service provider, is a JV between Maxis Communications and Sindya Securities and Investments, with Maxis Communications holding 74% stake in the company while the remaining 26% stake held by Sindya Securities and Investment.
