KEC International hits new 52-week high

KEC International has won new orders of Rs 1781 crore. The company has bagged international orders of Rs 1270 crore for the transmission and distribution business, while domestic orders are worth Rs 432 crore.

The company has bagged international orders of Rs 1270 crore for the transmission and distribution business, while domestic orders are worth Rs 432 crore. The remaining Rs 79 crore orders are for cable supply/EHV cabling/roof top solar projects.
KEC International’s international orders have been secured from Middle East countries as also from Sri Lanka, Africa and the Americas. The company’s domestic orders include contract from PGCIL for construction of 800 kV HVDC transmission line and construction and extension of 765/400 kV GIS/ AIS substations.
The company’s international order book has strengthened significantly in the last few months, especially in the Middle East and Africa. KEC International’s efforts is on growing EPC business in Brazil. The overall orders lay a very strong foundation for a robust growth in FY18.
The share price of KEC International increased 4.42 per cent in an early trade and is trading at Rs 217.1 on an intra-day basis. The stock price hit new 52-week high at Rs 220.85 on Wednesday.
