At the closing bell, Nifty ended at 9,139.30, with loss of 11.50 points and BSE Sensex closed at 29,413.66, a decline of 47.79 points. On the NSE, 19 shares closed in the green, while 32 shares ended the day in the red.

All indices closed in the red, except Mid-cap index which increased by 36.11 points, Small-cap increased by 73.00 points and Realty index increased by 152 points. Metal and Pharma declined 124.27 points and 83.40 points, respectively. 

Asian markets traded mixed on Monday. Shanghai dropped 24.40 per cent, and Nikkei increased 19.63 per cent. European markets were trading negative.
