HCL Technologies shines on renewing contract with Singapore Exchange

HCL Technologies’ IT services engagement with Singapore Exchange has been renewed for an additional five years. Meanwhile, the company has not revealed any financial details of the deal.
The company’s new contract expands the scope from the earlier year 2010 engagement, covering IT infrastructure, data centre services and IT management. It also includes a managed services construct, spans IT infrastructure, end-user computing, data centre, cloud services, workplace transformation, managed networks and enterprise security.
As per HCL Technologies' management, its automation collaboration, machine learning, analytics and cloud for driving agility, flexibility and enhanced member experience will be utilised for Singapore Exchange.
On the financial front, HCL Technologies’ revenue increased 14.25 per cent to Rs 11814 crore in Q3FY17 on a yearly basis. The company’s net profit also rose 7.13 per cent to Rs 2062 crore in Q3FY17 as compared to same period in previous fiscal.
The share price of HCL Technologies increased 0.89 per cent in early trade, and is trading at Rs 817.25 on an intraday basis.
