Reliance Jio customers are likely to be greeted with another perk in the summer season as AirAsia is planning to offer 15 per cent discount to Jio customers on its domestic and international flights, reported a leading business daily.

The business daily also stated that AirAsia is currently working on the process and the announcement for the same is expected to be made soon. The scheme would also allow Jio subscribers to take benefits of the offer by using AirAsia’s app for the travel period starting from June 20, 2017 up to September 30, 2017.Earlier today, AirAsia made the announcement through its Twitter handle and then removed it after a while.
According to the market insiders, Reliance Jio is planning to target the high ARPU (Average revenue per user) customers of its competitors as well as to retain its own high-end customers by providing such offers.
RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani, at the launch of Jio, had already hinted at series of such offers for its platinum customers.
