HDFC Bank touches 52-week high on robust Q4 earnings

HDFC Bank has declared a dividend of Rs 11 per share on the face value of Rs 2 per share.
HDFC Bank declared its Q4FY17 results today. The bank's numbers were largely positive.
The bank's NII for the quarter improved 9 per cent QoQ to Rs 9055 crore as against Rs 8308 crore in Q3FY17.
Its GNPA for the quarter increased 12 per cent QoQ to Rs 5885.6 in Q4FY17 as against Rs 5232.27 crore in Q3FY17. The bank's GNPA as per cent of advances remained unchanged as compared to previous quarter.
The net profit for the quarter increased 3.2 per cent to Rs 3990 crore versuss Rs 3865 crore in Q3FY17.
The bank's capital adequacy ratio (Basel III) declined to 14.6% in Q4FY17 as against 15.5% in Q3FY17.
Its CASA ratio for the quarter stood at 48% in Q4FY17 with 18% rise in deposits to Rs 643,639.7 crore, while advances increased by 19 per cent to Rs 554,568 crore. HDFC Bank has declared a dividend of Rs 11 per share on the face value of Rs 2 per share.
