Nifty closes above 9300 level first time ever

The benchmark Nifty closed above the 9300 level on Tuesday, on the back of heavyweight Reliance Industries hitting nine-year high. Markets extended gains in the second half of the session.
The benchmark Nifty closed above the 9300 level on Tuesday, on the back of heavyweight Reliance Industries hitting nine-year high. Markets extended gains in the second half of the session.
At the closing bell, Nifty ended at 9306 with gain of 88 points and BSE Sensex closed at 29943, an increment of 287 points. On the NSE, 38 shares closed in the green, while 12 shares ended the day in the red and one remained unchanged.
All the indices closed in the green. Auto and Bankex increased more than 250 points each. Capital Goods, FMCG and Oil & Gas indices rose more than 150 points each. Consumer Durables and Healthcare increased 100 points each. Mid-cap index increased 154 points and Small-cap also rose 88 points.
Asian markets traded positive on Tuesday. Shanghai increased 0.16 per cent, Hang Seng rose 1.31 per cent. Nikkei increased 1.08 per cent. European markets were trading on positive sentiments.
Derivative Analysis
Nifty Future closed in the positive at 9295. Going ahead, 9355/9225 will be the immediate support levels.
