Total sales for this quarter, Q4FY17, came in at Rs. 21934.6 crores. This represents a 6 per cent sequential decline and 12.12 per cent YoY decline.
Bharti Airtel Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, post market hours yesterday. The consolidated numbers were largely negative due to subdued revenue growth.
Total sales for this quarter, Q4FY17, came in at Rs. 21934.6 crores. This represents a 6 per cent sequential decline and 12.12 per cent YoY decline.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 7860 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 35.83 per cent.
In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs. 470 crore which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 29.96 per cent and a YoY decline of 69.26 per cent.
The company also declared a final dividend of Rs. 1 per share for the face value of Rs.5 each.
The company's stock which opened for trading at Rs. 337 on the BSE, has risen by 3.4 per cent and it is currently trading at the Rs. 356 mark.
