Glenmark does it again, falls fast

Glenmark is the worst performer in the index, down by nearly 14 per cent at Rs 782.50 per share.

Pharma stocks are seen slipping on bourses even as the BSE healthcare index is the worst performer on bourses in the first half of the trading session on Friday. BSE healthcare is down by 1.14 per cent or 170 points at 14817 levels.

Glenmark is the worst performer in the index down by nearly 14 per cent at Rs 782.50 per share.

Glenmark alone is seen contributing 50 per cent to the BSE healthcare index fall.

Torrent Pharma is down by 1.5 per cent, Marksans Pharma is down by 1.15 per cent, Morepen Lab is down by 1.11 per cent, Orchid Pharma is down by 1.17 per cent and Sun Pharma is down by 0.15 per cent.

Glenmark breached its lower circuit of Rs 813.95 in today's trade and the volume has surged in the first half of the trade.

The majority of the sectoral indices are trading flat to negative with the benchmark index Sensex at 30243 levels, down by 10 points.
