Country’s second largest Information and Technology company IT major and global, Infosys has been in news for last few days for its reportedly massive layoff plans as even reported in a section of media.

Country’s second largest Information and Technology company IT major and global, Infosys has been in news for last few days for its reportedly massive layoff plans as even reported in a section of media. Now, Infosys has come up with a clarification.

Now the company has clarified that there are not any such layoff which has been planned.

According to the reports by a leading national daily here on Saturday, the chief operating officer of the IT major, Pravin Rao in a letter to the employees said that the company is planning to roll out the salary increments on July 1, 2017, for the job level 5 staff. However, the salary hikes of the other job level staffs will come in subsequent quarters.

He also put down the rumours present in the markets and a section of media that Infy is planning to carry out the large-scale layoffs for the reasons of ‘non-performance’.
