Forbes Global Game Changers List 2017: Mukesh Ambani leads

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani leads the Forbes List of Global Game Changers from India. India has fourth highest number of billionaires in the world, The Forbes list includes 25 intrepid business leaders who are transforming their industries and changing the lives of billions of people across the world.

The list consists of 2,043 of the richest people whose combined net worth is USD 7.67 trillion, with 18 percent increase over the last year.

Mukesh Ambani has changed the game in the telecom space with a price war in a highly competitive telecom market with the launch of 4G phone services. He has offered high-speed internet at very cheap rates through Reliance Jio. He is helping realise the goal of Digital India. Reliance Jio has notched up 100 million subscribers by offering free broadband and voice services.

The list of the world billionaires includes founder of home appliances company Dyson, James Dyson, American global investment management corporation Black Rock co-founder Larry Fink, Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, social media company Snap co-founder Evan Spiegel, Chinese ride sharing giant Didi Chuxing founder Cheng Wei and African retail tycoon Christo Wiese .

Seventy-eight people have fallen off the list, including 33 from China, 7 American and 9 who are still wealthy but share wealth among extended family and therefore not eligible for ranking.
