Amara Raja Batteries Ltd : Q4FY17 Results

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 1359 crore, which represents a 1.34 per cent sequential increase and 17.66 per cent YoY increase.

Amara Raja Batteries Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 today.

The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 1359 crore, which represents a 1.34 per cent sequential increase and 17.66 per cent YoY increase.

Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 149.5 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 11 per cent.

The company reported PAT of Rs 99.10 crore, which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 11.77 per cent and a YoY decline of 9.58 per cent.

The company's stock opened at Rs 874.30 on the BSE and fell 4.5 per cent after the results were declared. It was quoting at Rs 835 intra-day.
