Dish TV Q4FY17 numbers fail to entertain

The compnay reported net loss of Rs 28.33 crore, as against net profit of Rs 26.7 crore in Q3FY17.
Dish TV reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, on Wednesday.
The company's total sales for Q4FY17 came in at Rs 708.6 crore, which represents a 5.3 per cent sequential decline and 11.4 per cent YoY decline.
Its operating profit (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs 17.8 crore and its EBIT margin stood at 2.5 per cent.

The nomination & remuneration committee of the Board of Directors of the company has approved the grant of 40,000 stock options convertible into 40,000 fully paid up equity shares of Rs 1 each to one eligible employee of the company at an exercise price of Rs 95.40 per option.
The Dish TV stock opened at Rs 95.4 and touched an intra-day low of Rs. 89.15 on the BSE.
Dish TV is a division of Zee Network Enterprise. The company provides DTH entertainment services that have features like EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), parental lock, 400 channels, games, interactive TV and movies on demand.
