Strides Shasun stock drops by over 4% on US FDA observations

The stock of pahrmaceutical company Strides Shasun dipped by over 4 per cent in intra-day trade on Monday after the US FDA issued observations on its Bangalore plant.

The stock of pharmaceutical company Strides Shasun dipped by over 4 per cent in intra-day trade on Monday after the US FDA issued observations on its Bangalore plant.
 
After the inspection by the US FDA, the company has been issued a Form 483, along with three observations. Observations under Form 483 are issued by the US FDA when investigators observe any practice that in their judgement may constitute violation of Foods Drugs and Cosmetics (FD&C) Act and other related acts.
 
Strides Shasun opened at Rs 894 on Monday (May 29) and closed at Rs 884, down by 3.68 per cent.
