IRCTC Partners with Mumbai based Firm to introduce “Book Now, Pay Later” Option

An IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation)  official, on Thursday gave a good news to millions of passengers travelling on the Indian Railways, which was that IRCTC will soon start a ‘book now, pay later’ service for any express train of the Indian Railways.

This service will enable the passengers to purchase tickets from the IRCTC website without paying immediately.
 
IRCTC spokesperson Sandip Dutta, informed that the IRCTC has partnered with ePayLater- a Mumbai based firm, for providing the service.
 
Dutta further said, "Through this service, a passenger can book a ticket five days prior to the journey with a service charge of 3.5% and pay it in the next 14 days," adding that passengers opting for this service will have to provide their name, mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar or PAN details.
