Job Profile:

Provide strategic direction and concept development for the functionality and user interface design for new site product offerings

Will work collaboratively with site Visual Designers / individually to ensure a proper balance between the design and implementation.

S/He will participate in development of a common set of Web 2.0 user interface standards and tools which will be shared across all media technology products and will have the opportunity to research and prototype new technologies to enhance the user interface and user experience.

Requirements:

Should have an inclination for creativity and to be able to bring innovative design ideas for websites/product offerings

A strong understanding of current Web and information technologies

Knowledge of interaction design, user interface design, and user experience concepts, pertaining to web development

Significant experience in HTML

Adhereing to latest guidelines in CSS/JavaScript, etc. used for web design

Comfortability with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.

Outstanding analytical skills

Strong written communication and presentation skills

An ability to promote design principles and methods while also understanding business needs and goals

Excellent team player with a flexible, collaborative approach
