TCS, HDFC, Tata Motors Among Highest Contributors to Nifty, Sensex Gains

The top Nifty and Sensex gainer was TCS. It was trading higher by over 3% at Rs 2692.3 per share on BSE as of 0920 hours.
HDFC, Tata Motors, Infosys and Sun Pharma are also contributing to the gains of Nifty and Sensex. Tata Elxsi was also trading higher by 2.8% at Rs 1534.6 per share, extending its Monday’s gain.
Among the top Nifty losers were ITC, ONGC, Indiabulls Housing Finance, restricting Nifty’s upward rally. ITC was trading down by 1.23% at Rs 313.55 per share.
On the sectoral front, BSE Energy index, BSE FMCG index, BSE Oil and Gas, BSE Consumer Durables index are trading in negative territory.
