Modi Rubber Limited Becomes Top Gainer in Tyre Stocks

Tyre stocks have gained in the closing hour on Tuesday with the huge volumes traded in the closing hours. Trading higher by over 4% at Rs 89.95 per share, Modi Rubber Limited is the top gainer in tyre stocks.

Apollo Tyres Limited was trading higher by more than 4% at Rs 258.35 per share on Tuesday. According to experts, falling oil prices due to geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region and some correction in rubber prices might have fuelled the investor's sentiments, think experts.  As reported by the leading news agency, natural rubber production in the country increased in FY17.
 
Other tyre stocks such as Good Year, TVS Srichakra, JK Tyre and CEAT are also trading in positive territory higher in the range of 1.2% to 4%.
