DB Corp, DMCL Terminate Contract to Publish DNA Newspaper

DBCL will stop publication of DNA newspaper from Jaipur and Ahemdabad cities form 16 June 2017 and onwards.
On Friday, D.B. Corp Limited (DBCL) has announced that its contract with Diligent Media Corporation Limited (DMCL) has been terminated mutually, with effect from close of business hours on 15 June 2017.
As a consequence, DBCL will stop publication of DNA newspaper from Jaipur and Ahemdabad cities form 16 June 2017 and onwards.
DMCL had granted an exclusive license to DBCL to print, edit, publish, circulate and market the newspaper titled – “DNA – Daily News & Analysis” together with its supplement in the cities of Jaipur and Ahmedabad, as the DBCL had earlier entered into publication license agreements with DMCL.
Th stock of D.B. Corp on the NSE hit a high of Rs 377 per share, higher by over 1% at 0930 hours.
