Prism Cements subsidiary Sanskar Ceramic Pvt Ltd completes expansion at Dhuva Plant

Prism Cements traded strongly on the opening hours of Thursday’s trade, gaining over 3% at Rs 120.60 per share on BSE.

On NSE, the stock attracted a traded volume of 34395 shares and traded value of 41.58 lakhs on Thursday’s intraday trade.

The company’s step-down joint venture, Sanskar Ceramic Pvt Ltd has completed the expansion of 4.2 million m2(MSM) per annum vitrified tiles capacity at its Dhuva plant, Morbi. 

The commercial production of the plant has commenced from June 21, 2017.

The company would be able to trim outsourcing of vitrified tiles as a result of this expansion.  The capacity of Sanskar stands at 2.3 MSM of wall tiles and 4.2 MSM of vitrified tiles.
