July series start on cautious note; ITC top Sensex gainer

CDSL managed to list with nearly 68 per cent premium to its issue price. The issue opened at Rs 250 per share and managed to hit an intraday high of Rs 269.95 per share.
The July series started on a cautious note with markets trading volatile on Friday. Sensex managed to shut shop at 30921.61 levels up by 64.09 points or 0.21 per cent and Nifty closed at 9520.90 levels , up by 16.80 points or 0.18 per cent.
ITC is the top Sensex gainer , closing up by 3.81 per cent. Sun Pharma and Cipla are the other top Sensex gainer closing up by 2.90 per cent and 1.88 per cent.
ICICI Bank is the top Sensex loser , slipping by 1.52 per cent. Hero Motocorp closed down by 1.25 per cent and HDFC was down by 1.02 per cent.
BSE healthcare gained 1.47 per cent, BSE Consumer Durables was up by 2.07 per cent and BSE IT index closed up by 0.56 per cent.
BSE Telecom index slipped 0.65 per cent, BSE Realty index closed down by 0.51 per cent and BSE OIl & Gas index closed down by 0.08 per cent.

The stock managed to close at Rs 260.70 per share on debut on NSE. To its issue price CDSL managed to close at a premium of 74.9 per cent.
