Hero MotoCorp sales rise by 14 % in Q1FY18, registers its highest ever quarterly sales

Hero MotoCorp Limited, two-wheeler manufacturer, posted its highest ever quarterly sales of 18,49,375 units in the first quarter ended June of the FY18.
On July 3, 2017, Hero MotoCorp Limited, two-wheeler manufacturer, posted its highest ever quarterly sales of 18,49,375 units in the first quarter ended June of the FY18.
The Company’s previous highest quarterly sale was in the second quarter ended September of FY17, when it sold 18.23 lakhs units.
In June 2017, the company sold 624,185 two-wheelers vehicles , registered growth of 14 per cent in comparison to the June 2016 where company sold 549,533 units.
Motorcycles sales grew by 13 per cent to 547,185 units in June 2017 in comparison to corresponding month last year. While scooter sales rose by 22 per cent to 77,000 units in June 2017 against the same month in 2016.
On July 3,2017, Hero MotoCorp Limited closed at Rs 3777, up by 2.17 per cent on BSE. On Monday it opened at Rs 3695 while on Friday it closed at Rs 3696.70. It touched its intraday high and low at Rs 3788.55 and 3677.40 respectively.
Over one year the stock has delivered 18.52 per cent. On YTD basis the stock is up by 21.61 per cent.
