Jaiprakash Associates Stocks declines by 9%

UltraTech Cement has recently completed the Rs 16,189 crore acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates' six integrated cement plants and five grinding units, having a capacity of 21.2 million tonnes.
On Tuesday,the stock of debt-burdened Jaiprakash Associates tumbled 9% on the BSE.
Jaypee Infratech Ltd. and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. were trading down by 7.40% and 4.90%, respectively on Tuesday, on the BSE.
Jaiprakash Associates was trading at Rs 19.60, down by Rs 1.15 or 5.54% as at 1513 hours on Tuesday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday low of Rs 18.70.
