Gujarat Fluorochemicals, India's largest producer of chloromethanes, refrigerants, and polytetrafluoro-ethylene, hit its record high during Friday’s trading session as the stock rallied over 7% to an all-time high of Rs 838 per share.

The company is a producer of poly tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin in India. The company's segments include chemicals, power, theatrical exhibition and wind energy business.
 
The stock has gained for the fourth consecutive week. The refrigerant gas manufacturer has a market capitalisation of Rs 9,073.61 crore and has zoomed over 78% so far in 2017.
 
The stock witnessed a huge spurt in volume by more than 2.46 times, hitting its 52-week high of Rs 838 per share during the trade, whereas, it has hit its 52-week low Rs 451 per share on 11 November 2016.
