Promoter entity sells stake in Ajanta Pharma

As per BSE bulk deal data Ganga Exports a promoter entity of Ajanta pharma has sold 24.85 lac shares at price of Rs.1500.11 on 11th July 2017.With this bulk deal the Promoter Holdings in the company has reduced to 70.71 percent from 73.78 percent.

 

Ajanta pharma a speciality pharmaceutical formulation company having branded generic business in India and emerging markets has informed BSE that its promoter entity Ganga Exports has sold 27 lac shares in the company which represents its 3.07% of paid up capital.

As per BSE bulk deal data Ganga Exports a promoter entity of Ajanta pharma has sold 24.85 lac shares at price of Rs.1500.11 on 11th July 2017.

With this bulk deal the Promoter Holdings in the company has reduced to 70.71 percent from 73.78 percent.

Further Mr. Yogesh Agrawal, Managing Director of Ajanta Pharma Limited mentioned that this sale has been done to provide liquidity to the promoters and the proceeds will be utilized for personal use.

On the same day (11th July 2017) SBI MUTUAL FUND bought 13.57 lac shares at an average price of Rs.1500.

On today’s trade the stock has opened at Rs.1499 with a high of Rs.1500 and low of Rs.1466.65 and is currently quoting at Rs.1477/share.
