Chennai Petroleum gains over 10% on BSE

CPCL has approximately two refineries with a combined refining capacity of over 11.5 million tons per annum (MMTPA).

Extending its intraday gains, the stock of Chennai Petroleum spiked over 10% during Wednesday’s trade on the BSE.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is a holding company. The Company operates in downstream petroleum sector. CPCL has approximately two refineries with a combined refining capacity of over 11.5 million tons per annum (MMTPA). 
  
At Rs 388.15, Chennai Petroleum Corporation was trading up by Rs 28.85 or 7.73% as at 1435 hours on Wednesday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs 398.70.
 
The stock has attracted traded volume of 21,45,374 shares and traded value of Rs 8,285.86 lakh on the NSE. It has hit a 52-week high of Rs 424.90 on 10 May 2017 and 52-week low of Rs 199.75 on 11 July 2016.
