TCS to shut its Lucknow office

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is going to shut its Lucknow office which has around 1,000 employees as it feels that it is not convenient for client work.

A national business channel reported that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is going to shut its Lucknow office which has around 1,000 employees as it feels that it is not convenient for client work.
 
TCS has said that the employees working at the Lucknow office will be relocated to Noida and Varanasi office and there will be no layoffs.

The stock has attracted traded volume of 6,67,751 shares and traded value of Rs 16,405.04 lakh on the NSE. TCS has hit its 52-week high of Rs 2,744.80 on 12 August 2016 and 52-week low of Rs 2,051.90 on 15 November 2016.
 
TCS will announce its Q1 FY18 results later in the day. Meanwhile, the company was trading at Rs 2,443.65, up by Rs 4.55 or 0.19 as of1122 hours on Thursday, on the BSE.
