On Friday, Suzlon Energy Ltd said that it has filed for voluntary liquidation of its Brazilian subsidiary Suzlon Energia Eolica do Brasilia Ltda. (SEOB).

Suzlon Energy Limited is a provider of renewable energy solutions. The company is a producer of wind turbines. It offers a range of solar energy solutions, such as solar irradiance assessment, infrastructure and power evacuation, land acquisition and approvals,supply chain, installation and commission, etc.

SEOB was established to manage opportunities in Brazil in 2006. The company took this decision by considering all the consequences of multiple factors that are unique to Brazil.

Meanwhile, on bourses, the stock closed in a negative territory slipping 1.0% at Rs 18.90 per share on Friday.
