The markets at record highs with put call ratio of 1.63 is indicative of increased derivatives positions in the market. Overall volumes in futures & options currently stand at 50.34 lakhs contracts with a turnover of Rs. 4,10,721 crore whereas volumes in Nifty futures was lower compared to previous trading session. On the options front volatility index has decreased in today’s trade by around 1%.
