Reliance Industries Limited board of directors announces 1:1 bonus issue

Reliance Industries Limited was trading up by Rs 39.10 or 2.56% as of 1258 hours on Friday, on the NSE.

In a BSE filing on Friday, Reliance Industries Ltd said that the board of directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 21, 2017, has recommended issue of bonus shares to the members of the company in the ratio of 1:1, that is 1 bonus share for every one share held.
 
This is the largest bonus issue of the country. The company had earlier given bonus issue on November 16, 2009.
 
At Rs 1,568, Reliance Industries Limited was trading up by Rs 39.10 or 2.56% as of 1258 hours on Friday, on the NSE. The stock has attracted a traded volume of 1,63,55,204 shares and traded value of Rs 2,56,673.67 lakh.
