Uflex develops speciality polymeric film for packaging material

Packaging material company Uflex announced on Thursday that the company has developed a speciality polymeric film to replace the bi-axially oriented polyamide (BOPA) or nylon film from flexible packaging material.

Packaging material company Uflex announced on Thursday that the company has developed a speciality polymeric film to replace the bi-axially oriented polyamide (BOPA) or nylon film from flexible packaging material.
 
This new speciality is laminated with polyethylene to fabricate a two-ply packing structure. The lamination process is also specialised to ensure superior and enhanced functionality of the packing structure. The new speciality film can be used for manufacturing packaging material for all products that currently use the nylon substrate. 
 
The stock was trading higher by 1.55% at Rs 454.50 per share on BSE at 1143 hours. It opened at Rs 448.30 per share. It touched its intraday high and low at Rs 458.55 and Rs 446.80 respectively.
 
It attracted total traded volume of 1,86,764 and traded value of Rs 848.28 lakh on NSE at 1146 hours.
