In the wake of Nava Bharat Ventures obtaining provisional acceptance of its 300 MW power plant, its stock gained more than 2% during the early morning trade on Friday, on the BSE.

A step-down subsidiary of the company, its 300 MW power plant of Maamba Collieries has been in operation, and has now achieved provisional acceptance under an EPC contract, the company said in a BSE filing post market hours on Thursday.
Following the capitalisation of the 300 MW power plant upon provisional acceptance, its commercial operations will be consolidated in the company’s financials henceforth, it said.
The 45th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company is scheduled to be held on August 9, 2017.
Nava Bharat Ventures was trading at Rs 136, up Rs 1.70 or 1.25% as at 1008 hours on Friday, on the BSE.
