The patent has been issued by Intellectual Property India, Government of India in accordance with the provisions of the Patents Act, 1970.
Meanwhile, HEG’s stock on Friday’s trade ended in negative territory, slipping 1.32% at Rs 451.15 per share.
The stock on NSE attracted a traded volume of 65,133 shares and a traded value of Rs 294.91 lakh.
The company has been maintaining a dividend payout of 25.55% and a return on equity of 4.65% for the last three years.
Graphite electrodes manufactured by HEG are used by manufacturers of steel. The company’s segments include graphite, power and other non-allocable items.
