NTT to expand data centres in India

The company launched international data network services via its affiliate NTT Communications India Network Services (NTTCINS) in order to meet the growing digital demand in the country.
IT and telecom services provider NTT Communications announced that it is planning to invest more than USD 160 million for its data centre expansion in India, which will increase the company’s total gross footprint in India to 11,00,000 feet.
The company launched international data network services via its affiliate NTT Communications India Network Services (NTTCINS) in order to meet the growing digital demand in the country. It is a part of Japan-based Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Group.
With further expansion of its data centre, the company aims to meet the growing market needs for mobility, e-commerce, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud and Big Data.
The company has already started the construction of data centres in Mumbai and Bengaluru through its subsidiary firm Netmagic in order to make it operational by April 2018, as per a leading news agency.
