European bourses opened slightly higher in the morning hours on Tuesday as investors reacted to earnings reports and digested further upheavals at the White House.

FTSE 100 index was trading at 7,407 level, higher by 35.12 points; CAC 40 index was trading at 5,099 level, up by 5.58 points; while the German DAX was trading at 12,123 level, up by 5.54 points.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 was trading up by 0.26 % with almost all the sectors.
On the financial front, BP, Fresnillio and Intesa Sanpaolo are the major companies who are going to release their latest figures on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, staff working in the parlours, maintenance and security departments at the Bank of England are set to begin a three-day strike on Tuesday.
