Bajaj Auto sales lose power by 7%

Indian two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing company, Bajaj Auto, has disclosed its sales data for the month of July 2017 in the morning hours on Wednesday.

Indian two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturing company, Bajaj Auto, has disclosed its sales data for the month of July 2017 in the morning hours on Wednesday. The stock is likely to see a volatile trading session on Wednesday.
 
The total domestic sales of the company for July 2017 was down by 6% at 1,86,497 units versus 1,98,022 on YoY basis. The total sales of the company for the same period was 7% down at 3,07,727 units versus 3,29,833 units on YoY basis.
 
Exports were down 8% at 1,21,230 units as against 1,31,811 units on YoY basis. Total motorcycles sales was down by 7% at 2,65,182 units as against 2,85,527 units on YoY basis. The total sale of commercial vehicles was down by 4% at 42,545 units as compared to 44,306 units in July 2016.
