Coal India gains on production and performance off-take numbers

Coal India traded in the positive territory after the company on Monday reported its provisional production and off-take performance as well as of its subsidiaries for the month of July to April 17, 2017.
Coal India traded in the positive territory after the company on Monday reported its provisional production and off-take performance as well as of its subsidiaries for the month of July to April 17, 2017.
Coal production for the month of July for CIL’s subsidiaries namely ECL, BCCL, CCL, NCL, WCL, SECL, MCL and NEC witnessed achievement of 76% , 65%, 156%, 105%, 120%, 98%, 93% and 100% respectively whereas Coal India witnessed an achievement of 97%.
Coal production from the months of April to July 2017 for CIL subsidiaries namely ECL, BCCL, CCL, NCL, WCL, SECL, MCL and NEC witnessed a growth of (0.8%), (24.2%), (20.4%), 5.1%, 4.3%, (0.2%), (5.3%) and 56.6%. Coal India witnessed growth of (4.3%).
Coal India subsidiaries namely ECL, BCCL, CCL, NCL, WCL, SECL, MCL and NEC off-take figures for the months of April to July 2017 witnessed growth of (10.2%), (11.6%), 15.2, 5.4, 28.6, 13.6,(7.7) and 117.1% respectively. Coal India’s off-take growth stood at (4.3%).
Meanwhile, the stock gained 0.14% at Rs 252.45 per share on the BSE.
