Arvind Ltd: Q1FY18 Results

Arvind Ltd reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017, today. 

Total sales for this quarter, Q1FY18, came in at Rs. 2475.03 crore. This represents a 0.41 per cent sequential increase and 17.63 per cent YoY increase.

Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 207crore and the EBIT margin stood at 8.36 per cent.

In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs. 56.75 crore which represents a sequential QoQ decline of 41.45 per cent and a YoY decline of 22.56 per cent. This was mainly due to 31% yoy increase in interest expenses

The textiles segment includes fabric, yarn and garments. The brands and retail segment includes retailing of branded garments, apparels and fabrics.
