Tata Motors’ global wholesales rise 12%

Tata Motors Group’s global wholesales in July 2017, including Jaguar Land Rover, stood at 98,534 units, registering a growth of 12% over July 2016, said the company in a BSE filing on Tuesday.

The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in July 2017 were at 32,026, higher by 5% over July 2016. The global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in July 2017 were at 66,508, higher by 15% compared to July 2016. The global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 51,425 vehicles (JLR number for July 2017 includes CJLR volumes of 6,805 units). Jaguar’s wholesales for the month were 14,452 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 36,973 vehicles.
 
Tata Motors was trading at Rs 427.45, down by Rs 3 or 0.70% as at 1232 hours on Tuesday, on the BSE.
