Kaveri Seed Company turns around its bottom-line on sequential basis

Kaveri Seed Company Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 today. Total sales for this quarter, Q1FY18, came in at Rs. 590.55 crore. This represents a 46.54 per cent sequential increase and 19.55 per cent YoY increase.

Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 200.57 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 33.96 per cent.
In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs. 202.37 crore, a YoY increase of 31.07 per cent. Further, company manged to turnaround its bottom-line from loss of Rs. 87.2 crore in last quarter.
Moreover, KSCL’s board of directors has approved the interim dividend of Rs.3 per equity share of face value of Rs.2 each.
Kaveri Seed Company is an India-based seed company. It is engaged in the production, processing and marketing of hybrid seeds.
